Dr. Guido Tricot received his medical degree and his PhD from the University of Leuven, Belgium. He completed a medical residency at Catharina Hospital, Eindhoven, Netherlands, a fellowship at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and two hematology fellowships at the University of Leiden, Netherlands. Dr. Tricot is currently professor of medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and director of the Utah Blood/Marrow Transplant and Myeloma Program.

Dr. Tricot is a member of several professional societies including the International Society of Hematology, International Society for Experimental Hematology, American Society of Hematology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, and the Society for Biological Therapy, among others. He is on the editorial board of Leukemia, and is a reviewer for numerous journals including the British Journal of Haematology, Cancer Research, Leukemia, Blood, New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and Lancet. Dr. Tricot has presented more than 150 lectures worldwide, and has published hundred of articles and book chapters. His major research interest is in multiple myeloma.
