Five academic and community faculty pairs present real-life case challenges in multiple myeloma focusing on relapsed/refractory, transplant as salvage therapy, elderly newly diagnosed patients, transplant-eligible patients, and maintenance. In addition, the faculty addresses different practice patterns in managing multiple myeloma, thereby encouraging a better understanding of barriers to uniformity of practice and working toward overcoming those barriers. This online, video-based CE program was developed from a live satellite symposium held on December 4, 2009, preceding the 51st ASH Annual Meeting.
