Intended Audience
This activity is designed for practicing physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and pharmacists in both the academic and community setting who have an interest in enhancing their knowledge and understanding of the management of multiple myeloma.
Program Overview
Five academic and community faculty pairs will present the following real-life case challenges:
- The relapsed/refractory patient
- The elderly newly diagnosed patient
- The newly diagnosed transplant eligible patient
- The patient who undergoes transplant as salvage therapy
- The patient who has responded to treatment
This webcast presents an opportunity for you to learn, in real-time, from real-world case scenarios, more about possible differences and similarities in practice patterns between community and academic practitioners and how to overcome differences. Faculty member pairs will be able to demonstrate what they have been able to learn from each other through years of collaboration and a shared clinic experience with myeloma patients.

Supported by an educational grant from Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb, Centocor Ortho Biotech Services, LLC, Genzyme Corporation, and Ortho Biotech, a division of Janssen-Cilag.
