Dr. Dan Vogl received his medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York. He completed an internal medicine residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, and a hematology-oncology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Dr. Vogl also received a master of science degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia. He is currently an assistant professor of medicine, division of hematology/oncology, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Dr. Vogl is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. He is a member of numerous professional and scientific societies including the American Society of Hematology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association for Cancer Research, Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network, and the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. In addition, Dr. Vogl is a reviewer for the US Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) Healthcare Horizon Scanning System. Dr. Vogl has written many peer-reviewed articles and abstracts on stem cell transplant and his current research focuses on the treatment of plasma cell disorders.
